OVERVIEW
Nxai Pan Camp is situated in the widlife-rich Nxai Pan National Park, a Kalahari reserve encompassing golden grasslands, seasonal pans and acacia woodland as well as the famous Baines' Baobabs. Nxai Pan is home to a unique mix of savannah and desert species as well as large summer migrating herds of elephant and zebra. It's also an excellent destination for predators - lion, cheetah, brown hyena and jackal are often seen - and the summer bird watching is astounding. Activities offered at Nxai Pan are game drives, day trips to the famous Baines’ Baobabs and Khama Khama Pan, star gazing, as well as nature walks with Bushman trackers. FACILITIES Nxai Pan Camp has nine thatch-roofed, en suite rooms and can accommodate a maximum of 18 guests. Each solar-powered room has been designed to regulate the seasonal temperatures features a private outdoor shower, sitting area and private viewing deck. There is one family room at Nxai Pan Camp that can accommodate up to four guests. ACTIVITIES Explore Nxai Pan's grasslands on morning and afternoon game drives in search of the plentiful wildlife that the area is known for. Take a historical tour of the nearby Baines' Baobabs as well as exciting guided nature walks to discover the Kalahari close up. While at the camp you can relax beside the swimming pool, spend some time reading in the lounge area, or grab a lounger and watch animals at the camp's permanent waterhole.
