OVERVIEW
Meno A Kwena Tented Camp is an authentic, unique, tented safari camp ideally situated for safaris to the Makgadikgadi and Nxai Pans National Parks as well as the Central Kalahari Game Reserve. Meno A Kwena incorporates a traditional safari theme with African culture in a wildlife environment that invigorates all sensations. This may not be the most opulent safari camp in Botswana but it is made up for with its style, attention to detail and service. Meno A Kwena is extremely sensitive to its guests’ safety and relaxation while sharing their enormous passion for wildlife. FACILITIES Meno A Kwena offers eight serviced canvas tents, each with a semi en-suite shower, flush toilet and authentic outdoor safari shower. The showers are all within an enclosure of thorny branches for safety from wandering wildlife, and tea and coffee facilities are also provided. The tents are hidden amongst the natural vegetation for privacy, but in full view of the Boteti River where wildlife comes to drink. The camp has solar power for charging camera batteries and energy saving lights. All meals are served in the dining tent, that also doubles as the bar, kitchen, lounge area and library tent while a natural rock plunge pool provides welcome relief in summer. ACTIVITIES Meno A Kwena Tented Camp is ideally located for land safaris into three ecologically unspoiled wildlife sanctuaries including the Okavango Delta, Makgadikgadi Saltpans and the Central Kalahari Game Reserve. To make the experience even more spectacular, Meno A Kwena offers a floating viewing hide where guests can view the elephants basking in the river, or go on a cultural bushman walking tour which enhances the variety of wildlife seen.
