Accommodation: Activities: Destinations: Seasonal: DETAILED ITINERARY On arrival at Maun Airport, you will be met by a Kwando/Moremi Air representative who will introduce you to your pilot and show you to your light aircraft for a departure out of Maun. DAY 1-3 Kalahari Tau Pan Camp is situated inside the world famous Central Kalahari Game Reserve right on the edge of the beautiful Tau Pan. The views and wide open spaces are unbelievable and captivating. The activities on offer here are game drives, full day excursions and nature walks with the San trackers –a remarkable and interesting activity. On your morning of departure after a game activity and breakfast, you will be transferred to the airstrip to continue on your journey by light aircraft to Pom Pom. DAY 3-5 Okavango Delta Set in southern Delta, you will find Pom Pom camp, located in a relaxing river setting and the perfect location from which to explore this area. Pom Pom Island is within a private concession situated in the heart of the Okavango Delta .Activities on offer are morning and evening game drives, mokoro trips, fishing and guided walks. After your morning activity, and a leisurely brunch on your day of departure, you will be transported to the airstrip for your charter flight to Kwara camp DAY 5-7 Okavango Delta Kwara camp is situated on the edge of the permanent waters of the world renowned Okavango Delta, and shares a common boundary with Moremi Game Reserve. Due to the specific location of the camp, Kwara is able to offer power boating, mokoro trips, walks and game drives – all year round. Kwara also offers fishing for 10 months of the year, (government regulations prohibit fishing in January and February) An added attraction for Kwara is that the camp is located in a large private concession enabling the game drives to operate both off road and at night. After a morning activity and a leisurely breakfast on the day of departure from Kwara you will board another light aircraft for your transfer back to Maun. |
