Eagle Island Camp at Xaxaba (pronounced 'KaKaaba'), which means 'island of tall trees', is a water-based thatched and tented camp on a raised wooden deck, situated in the Central Delta.

Xaxaba is one of the Delta's most pristine natural locations, a region of myriad waterways, palm-treed islands and vast flood plains.
Bird and animal life in this region is prolific. The camp offers game viewing by mokoro (traditional dugout canoe), motorized boats and a 14-seater Sundowner cruiser.

The camp offers 12 twin bedded luxury tents built of timber and reed with tented canvas walls and thatched roofs. Each has electric lighting, air-conditioning and heating.
